The spring clamps onto the cable at whatever position you require. The spring compresses, slowing down the trolley until the trolley stops or the spring compresses to it’s maximum.
Suitable for 10mm cable only, will not fit thinner, or thicker cables.
This is a 1.5m ( 5 ft ) long brake which gives half the compression of the longer 3.0m, we do sell this shorter brake when the budget is really tight but we only recommend 3m for safety reasons.
